Meet the team

 Idil began her career as a primary school teaching assistant in Bexley, where she supported young learners for over 7 years. When her mother fell ill in Somalia, Idil faced the challenge of balancing work with frequent travel overseas to provide care. This deeply personal experience led her to discover the care industry, where she found not only greater flexibility but the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge that supported her in caring for her mother.

Now serving as a Carer Manager at Caring Lane, Idil has been a key part of the team for over 3 and a half years. She is currently studying Health and Social Care and holds a Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce. She finds her role immensely rewarding and values the continuous learning and development it offers. She takes great pride in knowing that her role makes a real difference in people’s lives.
