Our Vision
The vision of Caring Lane is to provide practical support and personal care to vulnerable individuals within the community, so they can remain living in their own homes. Through close collaboration with families and support services, and by providing a well-trained, responsive team, we ensure a safe, inclusive, and continuously improving service.
Who We Support
Care for All
We provide care to people of all ages and circumstances, regardless of ethnicity, religion, culture, or gender. This includes:
- The elderly and those with physical disabilities
- Individuals with learning disabilities or difficulties
- Those with sensory loss, including dual sensory impairment
- People with mental health conditions
- Children and their families
- Personal or family carers
- Those who are terminally ill
- Individuals with challenging behaviour, including children
Our Objectives
What We Promise You
When you hand over the care of someone you love to another person, you are placing an enormous amount of trust in them. We don't take that lightly.
1. Your choices come first. You know what's best for you. We are here to support the life you want to live . That means helping you stay connected to your community, maintain your independence, and make your own decisions, even the risky ones.
2. We don't cut corners on care. Every visit, every carer, every care plan is held to the same standard. Your loved one's health and wellbeing is never something we treat as an afterthought.
3. We work with your family and support network. We keep in regular contact with families, GPs, social workers, and anyone else involved in your loved one's care to make sure nothing falls through the gaps.
4. You can trust the people we send. Every carer goes through a thorough recruitment process including DBS checks and full reference checks before they ever set foot in a client's home.
5. Our carers keep learning. We put every member of staff through a full induction following the Care Certificate. After that, regular supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training make sure standards stay high
6. We take concerns seriously. If something isn't right, we want to know about it. We have a clear process for complaints and concerns, and we act on what we hear. Nothing gets filed away and forgotten.
7. Your feedback shapes how we work. We ask, we listen, and we act. The people who use our services are the best judges of whether we are getting it right, and their views directly influence how we develop and improve.
8. Dignity and respect, without exception. Every person in our care is treated with the same level of respect and professionalism regardless of their background, beliefs, or circumstances. This is how our team works every single day.
