Maryama began her journey in a very different field, having initially pursued studies in engineering. However, she soon realised her true calling lay elsewhere. Drawing on her personal experience caring for a family member, she decided to explore a career in care, and quickly found purpose and fulfilment in the role.

After joining Caring Lane, Maryama’s dedication and natural aptitude were immediately evident. Her strong work ethic and compassionate approach saw her progress rapidly, taking on additional responsibilities including administrative duties and eventually stepping into the roles of Care Manager and Office Manager.

Within just a year at Caring Lane, Maryama was inspired to deepen her understanding of healthcare by training to become a nurse. Her goal is to bridge the gap between hospital care and home-based support, using her clinical knowledge to elevate the standard of care provided in the community.
